I can't help but think of this scene from The Godfather when I think of the current political situation.

In the clip, substitute Johnny Fontane for the Democratic party, reeling from the loss in Massachusetts and now uncertain about passing major health care reform.

And I'm hoping Obama does what Don Corleone does in the clip:
